So..... about that *brief* hiatus.
Not going to be so brief after all. I am a little heartbroken to report that I am taking an indefinite break from baking. Although I expected it to happen, this transition into the latest chapter of my life is still hitting me hard. Becoming an adult is inherently difficult, but one loop others forgot to mention is the one they have to jump through themselves in order to recognize me as an adult. And with my usual support systems being far away and moving on with their lives without me, the clouds overhead grow significantly heavier.
